Ski Passes for Winter 2011-2012
We can have your ski passes waiting for you at the chalet.
There are 2 main ski passes available:
1.
Les Portes du Soleil Ski Pass
The Portes du Soleil pass covers 197 lifts in 12 resorts in France and Switzerland.
In France:
Morzine, Avoriaz, Les Gets, St Jean D’Aulps (La Grande Terche), Chatel, La Chapelle d’Abondance and Abondance
In Switzerland:
Champery, Les Crosets, Champoussin, Morgins and Torgon
These provide access to 650 kms of great skiing and snowboarding, not forgetting marvellous walks, snowshoeing and cross country skiing.
There are some 283 marked runs to satisfy all standards of skier and snowboarders, plenty of off-piste opportunities in the right conditions and 4 boarder cross areas. Boarders and freestyle skiers can enjoy the 9 snowparks, 3 half-pipes and The Stash. You are never far away from one of the many friendly restaurants or snack bars dotted all over the slopes.

The Portes du Soleil resorts boast 694 snowcannon covering 391 hectares of piste in order to ensure that you get the best out of this vast and beautiful area.

There is a supplement of Euros 3.00 for the ‘hands – free’ option which is compulsory for passes of 3 days or over. You can leave your ski-pass in your ski suit pocket for the week – no more fiddling around with zips on cold days.
From 31st March 2012 there is a 15% discount on the Portes du Soleil prices above
2. The Morzine-Les Gets Pass
The smaller (and cheaper) Morzine-Les Gets area is part of the Portes du Soleil. It has 49 lifts serving 64 marked ski runs

This is a great area for beginners and intermediates with challenging runs for experts, some excellent off piste in the right conditions and some lovely scenic runs on tree-lined slopes. Again, you are never far from a mountain restaurant or snack bar.
