The Portes du Soleil Ski Area

Just over an hour’s drive from Geneva airport, Chalet Gueret offers easy access to the massive Portes du Soleil skiing area with 650 km of piste linking 12 resorts in France and Switzerland.

The chalet minibus and driver will take guests to and from the slopes, and we will be happy to advise you on the best places to ski. And what a choice of there is! There are runs to suit all abilities. The views are well worth stopping for, and you are never far from one of the many mountain restaurants which are a feature of the area.

The Morzine / Les Gets skiing area is the nearest – just seven minutes’ drive away. With 50 ski lifts it is the largest local ski area on the circuit. There are great beginners’ slopes. Intermediate and advanced skiers will enjoy the tree-lined runs and snow bowls with magnificent views of the Mont Blanc. There are some challenging runs and off-piste opportunities for expert skiers.
